On January 16, 2025, the 2.436MWp rooftop distributed PV project of Hunan Yuetang Trade City, invested and constructed by Suzhou Tonghe New Energy Group, was successfully grid-connected. With an installed capacity of 2.436MWp covering 40,228.5 ㎡ of rooftops, the project broke ground on November 1, 2024 and was completed in only 77 days.
Adopting the self-consumption with surplus fed to grid model, it integrates clean energy with commercial complexes, setting a regional benchmark for green energy application. It delivers 2.074 million kWh of annual generation, with total lifetime generation of 51.8512 million kWh. Annual reductions include 1,274.09 tons of CO₂ and 638.81 tons of standard coal.
The project fully utilizes rooftop resources to achieve integrated green and commercial development with efficient resource utilization and environmental advantages. Supported by professional O&M systems, the PV system operates with high stability and efficiency. The rapid 77-day construction cycle demonstrates outstanding EPC management capabilities.
Grid connection provides stable clean power supply, optimizes regional energy structures and coordinates economic and ecological development. As a practice of Tonghe’s vision Lighting the Future with Solar Power, it serves as an important demonstration case for low-carbon development.
