On December 24, 2025, the 1.6MW distributed PV project at Jinhua Guangfu Cancer Hospital, developed by Suzhou Tonghe New Energy Group, was officially commissioned. It delivers stable clean power for daily hospital operations.

Restructured from Jinhua No.3 Hospital founded in 1952, Guangfu Cancer Hospital is a Grade 3B comprehensive hospital specializing in oncology, respiratory care and geriatrics. It has obtained over 60 national honors, and ranked top 50 in China’s Private Single Hospital Rankings for 8 consecutive years, as well as 47th in the 2022 National Oncology Hospital Ranking.

Located at No.1296 North Huancheng Road, Wucheng District, the project is projected to annually cut 564.69 tons of standard coal and 1,164.05 tons of CO₂ emissions. Operating under the self-use, surplus-fed-grid model, it meets the hospital’s internal power demand, lowers grid reliance and generates extra economic benefits via surplus power integration.

This project marks Tonghe’s strategic entry into the medical clean energy sector, establishing a benchmark for green medical transformation and laying groundwork for future market expansion. It facilitates wider adoption of clean energy among medical institutions.

Furthermore, the project serves as an exemplary case for the whole industry, accelerating low-carbon transition across healthcare facilities. With advancing technologies and falling costs, more hospitals will deploy PV solutions to build sustainable, eco-friendly medical environments.
