On May 30, 2025, the 1.500525MWp rooftop distributed PV project at Wanda Plaza, Wuxing District, Huzhou, developed by Suzhou Tonghe New Energy Group, was successfully grid-connected. It provides efficient, eco-friendly clean energy solutions for the commercial complex, supporting on-site green power self-sufficiency and low-carbon emission reduction.
Wanda Commercial Management Group is a leading national commercial operation platform specializing in commercial project planning, construction and management. The shopping center was acquired by GSUM Fund in 2023 and remains under Wanda’s operational management.
With an installed capacity of 1.500525MWp, the project delivers 1.55 million kWh of annual power generation. Over 25 years, total generation will reach 38.75 million kWh, saving 14,225 tons of standard coal.
This is the Group’s last grid-connected project prior to the 531 Policy, and the 29th commercial complex rooftop PV project operated by Tonghe New Energy. Boasting advantageous location, premium building quality and stable power load, Wanda Plaza is an ideal site for distributed PV deployment.
The project supplies stable green power, reduces operational costs and improves efficiency, verifying the Group’s strong execution in complex scenarios. As a concluding milestone before the policy adjustment, it accumulates valuable experience for future projects and demonstrates mature technological capabilities in commercial PV development, laying a solid foundation for subsequent business expansion.
