Energy Storage EMS Product Engineer
Full Time | Majors in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics or related fields | 3+ Years | Bachelor’s Degree or Above | Nantong, Jiangsu
Job Responsibilities:
1. Connect with customers/markets, complete demand analysis and decomposition, and output specifications and technical indicators.
2. Output EMS control strategies and scheduling logic descriptions according to customer scenarios (industrial and commercial energy storage, grid-side, household energy storage, microgrid, etc.).
3. Connect with R&D/products, sort out customer needs and feedback functional optimization suggestions.
4. Sort out typical EMS cases, PPT, FAQ and promotional materials.
5. Be responsible for preliminary project interface docking: joint commissioning and communication with PCS, BMS, monitoring platform, scheduling system, etc.
6. Assist in on-site commissioning and problem location, and promote R&D to solve EMS software/communication/strategy problems.
7. Compile project acceptance data, operation manuals and training documents; provide EMS operation training for customers, integrators and channels.
8. Provide remote/on-site support for customer operation and maintenance, and handle daily EMS alarms and fault diagnosis.
9. Participate in project bidding and tendering, and compile technical bids and technical deviation response forms.
10. Assist after-sales, provide technical support, handle faults and promote continuous improvement.
11. Collect on-site data and user feedback to drive product function iteration and performance optimization.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above; priority given to those with 3+ years of experience in energy storage project on-site commissioning, technical docking and fault diagnosis.
2. Familiar with energy storage system principles and understand the relationship and interaction logic between batteries, PCS, BMS and EMS.
3. Familiar with EMS energy management system functions: scheduling strategy, grid-connected/off-grid, power control, remote signaling and telemetry, data upload, etc.
Able to read primary/secondary electrical diagrams and communication topologies, and understand common protocols such as Modbus, 104, 61850 and IEC103.
5. Strong learning ability, communication and coordination ability, planning and organization ability.
6. Proficient in office software such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
7. Honest and upright, diligent in work and serious in attitude.
