On February 19, 2025, the self-invested, self-constructed 860kWh electrochemical energy storage project at Suzhou Tech City Industrial Park was successfully grid-connected. Construction started on October 18, 2024 and was completed in 124 days. As a key milestone following Tonghe’s acquisition of Jiangsu new energy aggregator and electricity sales qualifications in 2024, it upgrades asset management capabilities and underpins market expansion.
Operating on off-peak charging and peak discharging mode, the project effectively reduces corporate power costs. Dual-zone energy storage configuration improves system stability, while intelligent load management optimizes grid operation efficiency.
The project builds a solid foundation for Tonghe’s energy storage development and accumulates practical experience for subsequent virtual power plant qualification application. With small-scale energy storage demonstration, the Group gains cross-provincial project implementation capabilities, and will further leverage aggregator and power sales qualifications to expand new energy asset operation markets.
